The best baby shower desserts are just like the baby you’re celebrating: pretty, petite, and perfectly sweet! Here are the most popular baby shower desserts on my blog. Many of these would work for bridal showers too!

The BEST Baby Shower Desserts
Whether you are hosting, attending, or just throwing a baby shower for yourself, dessert should be on the menu. Aside from the socializing, games, and gifts, the food is one of the most important components of a baby shower (especially dessert!). If you are looking for unique and customizable baby shower desserts, you’ve come to the right place!
The 25+ baby shower desserts in today’s roundup range from incredibly easy to somewhat complicated, so there’s really something for every skill level. Many are classic choices you’ve probably seen before; however, I did add a few others that will be welcome additions to the baby shower dessert scene! I also made sure to include plenty of no-bake recipes too.
Many of these desserts would work for bridal showers or tea parties too, so keep them in mind if you have one of those coming up on your calendar! Let’s dive right in.
1. Petit Fours
These dainty French cakes are SO pretty and fun! Serving Petit fours will give your baby shower a fancy tea party feel.

2. Frosted Animal Cookies
How sweet are these homemade frosted animal cookies?! These nostalgic cookies are perfect for a circus or safari themed baby shower (especially when paired with my zebra cake!).

3. Cake Pops
Cake pops are a classic baby shower dessert! You can have fun with the chocolate coating and sprinkles to fit any theme. Looking for a chocolate version? Try my chocolate cake pops!

4. Lemon Poppy Seed Scones
Similar to petit fours, scones are a dainty, tea party-esque addition to baby showers. I love making them mini, like my chocolate chip scones!

5. Mini Cheesecakes
These handheld mini cheesecakes are great for any party! Feel free to customize the crust, add-ins, and toppings to suit your needs.

6. French Macarons
If you’re up for a bit of a challenge, add macarons to your baby shower desserts menu! These can be made in any color, and the flavor options are truly endless. I also have chocolate macarons, fruity pebbles macarons, and red velvet macarons.

7. Ambrosia Salad
An old-fashioned favorite, ambrosia salad is a light and refreshing dessert. If you enjoy watergate salad, you’ll love this recipe!

8. Butter Mints
One of my favorite baby shower desserts! These can be customized with any color to fit the theme of your party. The best part? They can be made weeks to months in advance!

9. Gender Reveal Cupcakes
Gender reveal cupcakes are so much fun! Add these to your menu for a tasty surprise, especially if you plan to share your baby’s gender at the party.

10. Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes
Ice cream cone cupcakes are ALWAYS a hit! How cute would these be with a pink or blue frosting swirl?

11. Cookie Sticks
Another handheld baby shower dessert! These can be customized with colored candy melts and fun sprinkles.

12. Cheesecake Bites
No-bake cheesecake bites are perfectly portioned and totally customizable! Top with fresh fruit, chocolate ganache, blueberry sauce, or serve plain!

13. Mini Pavlovas
While you could make a full-sized pavlova, mini pavlovas are perfect for parties. I love topping mine with lemon curd!

14. Coconut Macaroons
Not to be confused with the macarons mentioned earlier, coconut macaroons are chewy coconut cookies. I love dipping mine in melted chocolate!

15. Cream Cheese Mints
Similar to butter mints, cream cheese mints are one of my favorite baby shower desserts! They are completely customizable and can be molded into whatever shape you like (baby rattles would be so cute!).

16. Russian Tea Cakes
While these are popular at Christmas, they also make a fun baby shower dessert. If you’d like to use chocolate chips instead of nuts, try my chocolate chip snowball cookies!

17. Brownie Bites
This one’s for the chocolate lovers! Get that intensely chocolatey brownie flavor without needing to cut any slices.

18. Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries
Crisp, fresh strawberries filled with cheesecake and topped with graham cracker crumbs…what’s not to like?!

19. Rice Krispie Treats
Customize these with colored sprinkles or a drizzle of chocolate. I have so many versions to choose from, like peanut butter and salted caramel or even cookies and cream.

20. Cookie Dough Pops
Not a fan of cake pops? Try edible cookie dough pops instead! These are just as cute and customizable as their cake pop cousins.

21. Fruit Dip
Fruit dip is a hit at any party! Pair it with your favorite fruits like pineapple, melon, and berries.

22. Chocolate Covered Strawberries
These are a bit more complicated than those cheesecake stuffed berries up above, but they are SO tasty! Again, feel free to play with the decoration to suit your theme.

23. Cheesecake Dessert Shooters
Anything looks fancy served in these cute little cups! This is just one of many no-bake dessert shooter recipes on my blog, all of which would make perfect baby shower desserts.

24. Meringue Cookies
You can customize these meringue cookies with any flavor or color you’d like. Sometimes I like to dip mine in melted chocolate! I also have a recipe for double chocolate meringue cookies.

25. Lemon Bars
These lemon bars are so light, refreshing, and easy! I also have a recipe for lemon crumb bars and a lemon tart, if you’d be interested in those.

26. Lemon Blueberry Tarts
How sweet are these individual tarts? They are served in mason jar lids for an adorable look.

27. Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
I highly recommend using my easy royal icing recipe if you want to get fancy with the decoration!

29. Eton Mess
This would be so pretty in cute mini glasses! One of the most refreshing baby shower desserts, especially in the spring and summer.

30. Hand Pies
With endless filling options, these mini pies are a crowd-favorite at showers and tea parties.

31. Angel Food Cupcakes
Transform classic angel food cake into perfectly portable cupcakes topped with whipped cream.
