Oatmeal pancakes & Moron Juice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients
  • Mix wet ingredients
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Spoon 1/4 cup into hot, greased pan

Notes

I would recommend subbing vanilla extract for the almond extract for sweeter pancakes.
I added 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp ground flax seed for additional nutrition
An easy substitute for 1 cup of buttermilk is to pour 1 Tbsp lemon juice into a measuring cup and then to fill up the measuring cup to the 1 cup mark with regular milk.
